FCI To Feature Power Solutions At APEC 2012 Exhibition
FCI, a leading manufacturer of connectors and interconnect systems, will showcase its Power Solutions products at booth 1136 during the IEEE-Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition 2012 (APEC® 2012). The conference is being held from February 5-9, 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
APEC 2012 is a premier global event dedicated to applied power electronics. It provides an ideal environment for equipment OEMs, power supply designers and component manufacturers to discuss the latest achievements and breakthroughs.
FCI will showcase its latest Power Solutions products with a special focus on its new PwrBlade+™ connector. The PwrBlade+ connector is the latest in a comprehensive line of power connector and accessory solutions for power supply and host-to-card interfaces as well as customizable power cable assemblies and power distribution (bus bar) solutions.
“The PwrBlade+ product is a next-generation power interconnect focused on demanding power applications that require higher linear current density and low power loss,” said John Dodds, global power business development manager at FCI. “The PwrBlade+ connector builds on the PwrBlade® connector’s proven technology but includes enhancements to achieve increased performance and density.”
FCI is known for its innovative power products that feature low contact resistance, high linear current density, low profile heights and modular tooling designs for custom power needs.
