Active Optical Cables - or AOC's - provide optimum link performance, high reliability, inter-operability and ease of installation. By its design, an AOC does not have any optical interfaces exposed eliminating the risk of contamination. FCI provides CXP to CXP, QSFP+ to QSFP+ AOC's as well as CXP to 3 QSFP+ break-out cables. These cables are ideal for use in datacenter installations, and provide plug & play fiber optic solutions for shelf-to-shelf, cluster-to-cluster and core-to-core switch applications, with aggregate bandwidths of up to 150 Gb/s per cable while optimizing port density.
